The design brief;

 

Design a modern family home to the Passivhaus standard.

The design sought to maximize the stunning views of Bennachie as well as incorporate the surrounding vernacular building forms. 

 

A large open-plan kitchen/dining/living space with vaulted ceiling & feature glazing creates a spacious & bright entertaining space within this house, while the lounge/snug to the front & first floor seating area offer a more private & reflective space for relaxing.
